Toyota bZ4X Lease : Toyota has once again reduced the lease price of its all-electric SUV, the 2025 Toyota bZ4X, making it one of the most affordable EVs on the market. Surprisingly, the bZ4X can now be leased for less than a Toyota Corolla in certain states, despite being significantly more expensive to purchase.
Toyota bZ4X Lease Price Drops Below Corolla
The 2025 Toyota bZ4X XLE now comes with a lease offer of $199 per month for 36 months, with $3,999 due at signing. That brings the effective monthly cost to around $310, making it one of the best deals in the EV segment right now.
This offer represents a 12% reduction compared to the previous promotion, saving drivers around $42 per month. What makes it even more appealing is that the bZ4X lease price is actually lower than that of the 2025 Corolla LE Sedan, which costs $229 per month with $2,999 at signing, or roughly $312 per month effective.
bZ4X vs Corolla: Price Gap vs Lease Value
While the lease price is now in favor of the bZ4X, the MSRP difference is striking.
- Toyota bZ4X XLE: $38,465
- Toyota Corolla LE Sedan: $22,325
- Difference: $16,140
Despite this massive gap in purchase price, Toyota’s lease deal makes the bZ4X more budget-friendly than a Corolla, highlighting the aggressive push to attract EV buyers.
Added Perks – Free Charging and Discounts

To sweeten the deal, Toyota is offering one year of unlimited public charging (via EVgo) with every purchase or lease of a new 2025 bZ4X. Customers can also roll a ChargePoint home charger into the cost if desired.
In select areas such as Los Angeles, Toyota is providing up to $12,000 in lease incentives. However, once the federal EV tax credit expires at the end of September, these savings could shrink to around $4,500, increasing the effective lease price by over $100 per month.

Competition Heats Up – Hyundai IONIQ 5 vs bZ4X
Although Toyota’s deal is highly competitive, the 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 is also being offered at an attractive lease price of $179 per month nationwide. With a longer range, sleeker design, and built-in NACS charging compatibility for Tesla Superchargers, the IONIQ 5 poses a strong alternative for EV shoppers.
